Examples of custom designs during the proofing stage of the process
THE PROCESS - TIMESCALES
Every custom design is different. Normally, it takes up to 2 weeks to design a full invitation suite. This includes your input when receiving proofs. The following information is based on invitations only. Please enquire if you need specific information about anything else.

If you have chosen to have a free informal consultation with me, then I can't wait to meet you face to face! We will discuss your design vision and run through any requirements, so that I can give you your quote and hopefully get started on your dream stationery and signage. I recommend jotting down your ideas, budget and any questions that you have prior to our chat. If you have chosen to stick with email communication, I will send you a form to fill in with the requirements.
STEP THREE
YOUR QUOTE
Following your consultation, I will email you a quote that details your requirements. Your quote is then valid for 7 days and is fully flexible up until production, which means that if you want to add or remove anything before we start printing, that's absolutely fine. Please note that a 50% deposit is required to begin the design process.

STEP FOUR
DESIGN
Once the deposit has been paid, you can sit back and relax as I design your stationery and signage! This can take up to 2 weeks depending on time of year and how complex your brief is. During this phase, I will send you up to 3 digital proofs. The 1st proof is often a couple of designs that meet your brief and budget for you to choose from. The last two proofs allow for small amendments to be made to your stationery, ensuring it is perfect before printing. If you would like a printed sample of your design, please let me know as this will be an additional cost.

Please understand that all proofs will contain a watermark and cannot be copied, printed or redistributed in any way.
STEP FIVE
PRINTING / PRODUCTION
Once you're completely happy with your design, an invoice for the remaining payment will be sent which covers either the printing from home licence or the printing and production costs. Here is where I begin the production part of the process.

If you have chosen to use my 'Print at Home' option, I will email you your design files as high quality files that you will be able to print from either your own printer or at a local printers. It will takes up to 1 week to receive your 'print ready files'. Please note that if you have chosen this option, I cannot be held responsible for any issues that occur during your printing process.
STEP FIVE
Once we've arranged a suitable delivery date, your personalised stationery will be posted 1st class 'Signed for'. If you have ordered less than 25 units, it will be sent out 2nd class 'Signed for'
